Job Duties

Technical Drafting: Creating detailed CAD drawings, diagrams, and blueprints based on project specifications. Ensuring accuracy and clarity in all technical representations.

3D Modeling: Developing precise 3D models of structures, components, or products using CAD software. Preparing visualizations that support planning, design reviews, and client presentations.

Plan Revisions: Updating drawings and models as feedback, corrections, or design changes are provided. Ensuring all revisions are documented and properly version-controlled.

Specification Interpretation: Reading and interpreting architectural plans, engineering documents, sketches, and design notes to produce accurate CAD outputs aligned with project requirements

Measurement & Layout: Incorporating accurate dimensions, measurements, and scaling into all drawings to ensure construction and fabrication integrity.

File Management: Organizing CAD files, maintaining clean project folders, and ensuring proper naming conventions for easy access and reference.

Quality Control: Reviewing outputs for errors, inconsistencies, or missing details. Ensuring that all drawings meet industry standards, project requirements, and safety guidelines.

Project Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, designers, contractors, and project managers to ensure alignment on project goals and technical requirements.

Material & Component Detailing: Adding information such as materials, assembly instructions, component specifications, and annotations needed for production or construction.

Software Proficiency: Maintaining knowledge of CAD tools and updating skills as new features or technologies become available to ensure efficient and accurate work.
